many of us believe, well i believe, that family comfort, support, and warmth is endless, regardless of those time where we say "i hate you mom/dad/sister/brother!" or "i never want to talk to you again!" we all know that by the end of the day, the love we been had in us overcomes our hate towards our family members. we take it for granted as to know that the bond we have towards each other in our family can never end.
however, that is all different than the comfort you have with friends. sometimes we seem to cherish friends more than our family because we rather be with our friends than our family. why is that? for me, i guess its because i know the time with my family can always be spent at home but as for friends, i just dont seem to ever have enough time with them. the comfort, trust, and support you have for and from a friend is build up over time and it takes effort to do so. i guess thats why i cherish it more than i cherish my comfort with my family because its something i took the time to build and decided to put time in, in order to have. family comfort seems to just be a given from birth so therefore, i take it for granted. some people wouldnt understand while others would. i guess everyone have their own perspective.
i dont know what was the point of writing this, however it helped i guess since i was in a bad mood with my family. my sister once again said some retarded shit which got me cuss her the freak out until she shut her stupid mouth and "laughed" it off.

you cherish your friends more because you know that no matter what, your family will always be there for you. however a friend is different, because once you lose them, you lose them.
ReplyDeletebut don't take your family for granted. even though you know that they WILL be there for you, you should appreciate them more. if your sister were to do something stupid, don't yell at her, tell her. by arguging back and forth, will only cause more frustration
